Q1: The level of LuckyBot is not enough

Failure Reason: The level of the LuckyBot is not enough to assign the role. Please drag the position of LuckyBot to the top in [Server Settings]-[Roles] to upgrade the level.

Explain: The sorting of Discord role positions is also the sorting of role management permissions. Therefore, the higher the position, the greater the permission of role management. The newly added roles will be at the bottom, so you need to drag them up.

How to solve

  1. Find out the LuckyBot in [Server Settings] - [Roles].

  2. Drag the position of LuckyBot up to upgrade the level of role management permissions. Drag it onto the position of the role to be assigned.

Q2: Because of 2FA

Failure Reason: LuckyBot cannot assign roles because of 2FA (two-factor authentication). Please turn off 2FA in [Server Settings] - [Safety Setup].

Explain: 2FA (two-factor authentication) will ban all bot management behavior. So if you want to continue to efficiently manage the community through bots, you need to turn off 2FA.

How to solve

  1. Find out the switch in [Server Settings] - [Safety Setup] - [Require 2FA for moderator actions].

  2. Turn off [Require 2FA for moderator actions].

  2. If LuckyBot is in the server, check its permissions for missing in [Server Settings] - [Roles]. And re-add the LuckyBot.

  3. If LuckyBot has permissions, check if 2FA is enabled. Check Q2👆 for details.

Q4: User not found

Failure Reason: This user is not found in Discord.

Explain: The user you want to assign the role does not exist on the server. How to solve

  1. 1.Check whether the imported user information is correct, including Discord ID or Discord Username.

  2. 2.If the user information is correct, contact and wait for the user to enter the community.

Q5: Discord role does not exist

Failure Reason: The Discord role does not exist.
